15 Minute Phone Consultation

Developing a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most important pieces of therapy and I offer a free phone consultation to ensure that I am a good match for you. After your consult is scheduled, I’ll call you to learn a little bit about what brings you to therapy. If we decide to move forward with the therapeutic relationship, we will schedule your intake assessment. If I am not the right therapist for you, I can provide you with referrals to other therapists who may be a better fit.

New Client Paperwork

You will receive a link to complete the intake paperwork electronically. Please complete the necessary paperwork at least a day prior to your appointment so that your first session runs smoothly. If you do not complete the paperwork prior to your appointment, we will have to reschedule for another time.

Your Intake Assessment

I use Zoom’s secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Prior to your appointment, you will receive a link via email to join your session.

Your intake session will last about 90 minutes. We will talk about your past history (you can share as much or as little as you’d like), what brings you to therapy, what you would like help with, how I may be able to help you, and determine how often we will meet.

Ongoing Sessions

After the intake session, individual therapy appointments will last between 50-55 minutes and will be spent working towards your identified goals. Many clients can expect to attend weekly or biweekly sessions anywhere between 6 months to a year. Group therapy sessions run for 2 hours and last for 10 weeks.
